Your use of the rule of thirds and sideways angle give the image an interesting dimension. By editing it to be black and white you have made the window stand out against the background, suggesting a void on an otherwise smooth surface. The only issue I have is the title since it conjures up images of colour, contrasting with the actual photo. Maybe if you had left the plants in colour that would have given the title more solidarity. Overall, this is a simple piece that just highlights the fact that photography doesn’t have to be complex to be beautiful.
This piece isn't terribly bad, but it's not terribly good either. It's plain, simple, and a bit boring, and doesn't capture the eye enough. The small window is all there is to see, making it impossible for the eye to really travel through the photo. What you should have done here, is left it in color because the pure white walls are almost a little blinding and a bit distracting. Even if the walls were a pure white to begin with, if it had some texture to it that was possibly hidden when turned black and white, this piece would have worked much better.
